Terms of Use for the App “cigaryo”

1. Scope

These Terms of Use govern the use of the mobile application cigaryo (hereinafter referred to as the “App”) and all related services and content. By registering for or using the App, you agree to these Terms of Use.

2. Age Restriction and Eligibility

The App cigaryo is strictly intended for adults only. Registration and use of the App are permitted exclusively to persons who have reached the legally required minimum age for tobacco-related products in their respective country.

In particular:

  • Within the European Union (EU), registration and use of the App are permitted only for persons aged 18 years or older.

  • Within the United States of America (USA), registration and use of the App are permitted only for persons aged 21 years or older.

If you do not meet the applicable minimum age requirement, you are not permitted to register, create an account, or use the App in any form.

By registering, the user explicitly confirms that they meet the minimum legal age requirement applicable in their country of residence. cigaryo reserves the right to suspend or permanently delete user accounts if false age information is provided or if there are reasonable doubts regarding the user’s eligibility.

3. Purpose of the App

The App cigaryo is intended solely for informational, documentation, and community purposes related to cigars (e.g. reviews, collections, origin information).
The App does not sell tobacco products and does not encourage or promote tobacco consumption.

4. User Obligations

Users agree to:

  • provide accurate and truthful information during registration,

  • comply with all applicable laws and regulations,

  • refrain from publishing unlawful, misleading, or harmful content,

  • use the App only for its intended purpose.

5. Disclaimer and Health Notice

cigaryo does not assume any liability for health risks associated with tobacco consumption. Content provided within the App does not constitute medical, legal, or professional advice.

6. Termination of Use

Users may delete their account at any time. cigaryo reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Use or applicable laws.

7. Changes to the Terms

cigaryo reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Users will be informed of material changes within the App.

8. Governing Law

These Terms of Use shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, unless mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
